Hortus II - the Arley catalogue

The extensive range of trees and shrubs at Arley Arboretum has been catalogued for many years.

The first catalogue was called "Hortus Arleyensis", and was published in 1907. It lists a vast range of trees and shrubs and details the height and girth of most. Sadly, all but two of the original number tags are lost.

Remeasurement was carried out by Mr Alan Mitchell in 1961 and 1991.

Further measurements in 2009 carried out by John Bulmer, David Binnian and Peter Howells.
