Group Bookings

Weekdays and evenings only by prior appointment. Parties of over 10 admission £4.50 per adult.
Evening visits - Group visits only. The Arboretum is closed at 9.00 p.m.
Escorted tours available at an additional charge of £2.00 per person.

Group bookings are also available outside normal opening times and during the closed winter season.

TEA ROOM

PICNICS

CLOSED UNTIL WEDNESDAY MARCH 17TH 2010

The tea room is open from 11am to 4.30pm and is open to non-visitors to the arboretum.

The picnic tables outside the tea room are reserved for customers of the tea room.

Picnics may be taken anywhere in the arboretum provided they do not cause an obstruction or a danger to visitors.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome on leads, and "pooper scoopers" are available at the ticket office.

Facilities

Facilities for Disabled

There is ample car parking, a picnic area and toilets, including facility for the disabled. A selection of hot & cold light refreshments are available from the Tea Room. The arboretum is suitable for wheelchair access.

There is limited access to the Italian garden and the Well area.

There is limited access to Grove Coppice.

The arboretum has flagstone pathways around the perimeter of the walled garden. The rest of the arboretum is mown grass.

Picnics may be taken anywhere in the arboretum provided they do not cause an obstruction to visitors or present a danger.

There are several picnic tables situated around the arboretum. The lawned areas in front of the main arboretum entrance can also be used for picnics provided there are no special events taking place in that area.

The picnic tables situated immediately outside the tea room are for customers of the tea room only.
